There is one more cool film with adventure genre packaged with drama and sweet romance. Produced by STX Entertainment, The Space between Us tells about how a simple dream becomes more complicated. It is related to the first experience when someone sees closely the earth and the whole world.
The story of The Space Between is started from a group of researchers under NASA who dream of being colonized in the red planet, Mars. It sounds impossible, indeed. However, there are finally 15 astronauts are ready for their first blasting to Mars. It is not only for visiting but they are also to live and stay there. And if it is possible, they should also prepare Mars so that it can be used by more human to be lived as a home.
Unfortunately, something which is unpredictable happens. One of the 15 astronauts who are going to Mars is pregnant, something which is really unexpected. There is no other choice; the pregnant astronauts must give a birth on Mars. It will be the first baby-born on Mars. However, the astronaut is dead during the birth of the baby due to a complication. Of course, such a unusual happening simply makes other astronauts and NASA researchers feel panic. Anything is late since the baby is still too weak to come back to the earth. The only choice is to let him grow up on Mars.
Gardner Elliot is the first human who was born and grow up on Mars. Although he lives in a really unusual environment and even he meets only 14 people in his lifetime, Gardner becomes a very smart, curious and brave boy, more than the others. When he was 16, Gardner is starting to feel curious about who he is and why does he live on Mars, a place which is far away from the earth.
