A female movie director, Gauri Shinde, once again try her luck in a big screen after she had a huge success for her first movie “English Vinglish” in 2012. In her first movie, Gauri Shinde worked with former Bollywood superstar Sridevi, and new Bollywood actress Priya Anand. Now, in her second movie, she works with a famous producer Gauri Khan who is the wife of Shah Rukh Khan, and Karan Johar who was famous for his movie “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” in 1998.
Her second movie is called “Dear Zindagi”. She offered the main actress role to Alia Bhatt, a young Bollywood actress who is the daughter of movie director Mahesh Bhatt and actress Soni Razdan. Shah Rukh Khan the most popular actor in India, also took part in this movie. The movie is about a young woman (played by Alia Bhatt) who worked as a movie director. She is trying to find her real love through series of uneventful love life.
She has had four relationships with four different characters. Her former boyfriends are played by Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali Zafar, Kunal Kapoor, and Angad Bedi. One day, she finally found her ideal man who made her feel safe and comfortable. But this man, played by Shah Rukh Khan, has big age difference with her. Her older boyfriend is like her mentor. He is so wise from whom she can get the answers for all her problems in life.
This movie has romantic drama genre that can be watched together with your family since there are no adult scenes in it. The main characters are played so well by both main actor and actress.
